The preparation of kesar or saffron milk for pregnant women is a simple procedure and below are the required items. A glass of milk 5 – 10 threads of Kesar /Saffron 1 spoon of sugar The primary requirement for Kesar saffron milk is just the milk and kesar saffron. You can add a spoon of sugar for sweetness. Here is a simple easy procedure for making kesar milk Boil a cup of milk and add a sugar spoon. Add 5 – 10 threads of the Kesar to the boiling milk and leave it for 5-10 minutes till the milk cools down. The color of the milk would turn pale yellow, the color change will take minimum 5 minutes as we don’t add any artificial colors to Saffron. The pale yellow milk with the Kesar threads in it is good for consumption now.  Expecting mothers can have it early in the morning or late in the night before going to the bed.
